Hello everyone!
So how have your holidays been going?
As you can see from the collage above, we succumbed to gluttony on Christmas eve. We had falafel (get the recipe here), Feta Cheeseballs with Pistacchios (doing these again, but differently), Georgian Eggplant rolls, a creamy parsnip soup with dukkah and mint, green salad with pecans, pomengranate seeds and pecans in mango dressing, mushroom ragout with fried polenta medals, mini cheesecakes with santa hats and chocolate soufflé with raspberry garnish. It was a very successful endeavour, however it required quite a bit of preparation and I spent a good deal of time in the kitchen.
I’ll be posting the recipes in the days to come, but without pictures featuring the preparations. My hands were constantly full with gooey and sticky foods whilst cooking and I was on a bit of a tight schedule, plus the camera was resting in the bedroom upstairs, so this time only the final shot will have to do.
I hope that you enjoyed the festivities with your loved ones and that you had some jolly and peaceful moments together. I also hope that you have a serene couple of days ahead of you before the year concludes and that you have great adventures ahead!
I’m going to get busy updating this blog now, so stay tuned!
Big hugs,Mari
